75 day streak!
I know it pales in comparison to some others on here, but I am not sure I have ever in my life practiced something voluntarily for 75 straight days. This feels like an accomplishment!
I haven't ever bought a day with lingots. There have been a couple very light days when something was going on. But pretty much all of my progress in all four languages was made during this time. I believe I had 1-2 days of German only before this streak.
Early on Duolingo was like an addiction. That has cooled off to a healthy discipline as I enter a time of the year when I am more busy. I am still thoroughly enjoying this. Thank you Duolingo for making this fun!
Wow... I guess he was directly mentioning you in the first paragraph. 735 days... Unbelievable.
Once you have a couple of months going you pretty much have a rhythm and maintaining a streak becomes easier and easier. The trickiest part is continuing during holidays.
You are doing great. Keep it up :)
75 is good and I bet you will double that and find hitting 150 is even better.
WOW!!! That's soo cool! At the most I've only gotten about 4 days in a row! Congrats!
ı wondered something what happenned when you lose all your streak , do you have start all level from the beginning all or you just move on with 0 streak where you stay
You do not restart all levels from the beginning. The streak is useless. It is just motivation. If you do 5 days in a row and then lose your streak, you keep all of your XP, lingots, and levels. The streak goes to zero, and if you do more duolingo, you get a streak again. You are not forced to do Duolingo every day for the sake of keeping your levels. It's stupid to reset someone's progress because they missed a day of Duolingo.
If I'm understanding you correctly, no, streaks do not reset your "learnt" parts of a language, you move on with no streak.
