Streak Freezes being used up when they shouldn't be

I just sent a bug report, but am wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing??

I am not sure why, but for the last 4 consecutive days or so, my Streak Freezes are used up, even though I have completed my daily goal... I've spent 40 lingots when I shouldn't have. On one day (Tues) it says I missed one lesson (figured my phone data might've been offline when I completed it)... but even now, with goals met (and recorded as such!), I am getting a "Streak Freeze used up" message daily!

General tips

Unfortunately, Duolingo's servers can be very slow in synchronizing the data on your device and the databases on their servers.

Advice

1) Never log out Duolingo or your device before you have forced the synchronisation:

  • App:
    Select another course in the App
    Tap the flame icon to check if it still shows "You've met your daily goal"

  • www.duolingo.com:
    Refresh your browser.
