I just wanna thank you, ...

I've just spent hours and hours talking in German, barely struggling, if at all, and I must admit that is certainly in part thanks to Duolingo or help from people/sites as a result of Duolingo. The massive improvement I've had since I started going at it from the Duolingo angle, is pretty awesome, and that's in what, ... a month or so? I've come in leaps and bounds. My German friend has noticed it and says as such. I honestly think Duolingo is a vital stepping-stone for learning German and for those who wish not to, or cannot spend money.

Seriously, thank you, team. You're gradually helping me reach my dream of fluency in German.

Thanks to Duolingo I've been cleaning out my crappy habits, learning lots of new vocabulary, hugely improving my grammar, and even learning more about grammatical terminology. Because of Duolingo, I've had more excuses to practice/study, and more inspiration to do as such. Thanks to Duolingo, I've had that little bit extra motivation to continue and not get dragged down by those silly little moments in which I lose confidence in my ability.

You know what else is awesome? Thanks, again in part to you guys, I've got more knowledge under the hood, with which I've been able to help others.

Please do keep up the good work, and thank you so much for being entirely FREE.

As I understand it, specific people actually made the English>German courses, so of course these thanks also apply to you!

Posts like this encourage me even more to keep using Duolingo to practice my portuguese :D (the other great thing is that I also see that I really make progress :) )

I studied german for one semester in college and I only get the very basic of the language, I really like to learn german not just to read and write but also to speak the language and it motivates me to learn more then here I discovered duolingo which is a really big help not just for me but to all who wants to learn any language as well. Thanks to duolingo and to duolingo community.
