Duolingo Korean Tree 2.0
I am almost done with the Korean tree and in the notes for the school skill there is a mention of an "eventual Tree 2.0."
I am very curious as to when the tree will be updated and have been anticipating it with no date in mind, and that is personally exhausting (though I know it's my fault for obsessing lol). My agony is similar to the kind described in the Emily Dickinson poem "If you were coming in the fall." xc
Seriously though, does anyone know when it is coming out or around what time it may be coming out?
Do you guys think you're actually achieving such level to be able to get into a conversation in Korean? I don't know if I should keep learning this language or to remain with others I've already taken...
I've finished the tree just less than a month ago. I use speaky to meet Koreans in order to practice my skills, Duolingo helps a lot with grammar and some vocabulary, now I'd recommend you to start listening music in Korean and watching some Korean dramas when you already have some little knowledge of the language to increase your vocabulary, also, I've seen that pronunciation and listening is very difficult. But, if you REALLY want to learn Korean, just don't hesitate but think it won't be easy
행운을 빌어요! (good luck!)
Honestly, I found that a great way to learn vocab is to listen to DAY6 songs with the Korean lyrics and then the translations. Other KPOP groups also have good lyrics and I have learned A LOT. So maybe, while you wait, try that out.
Thank you for the tip. Once I complete the tree, I will definitely do that while I wait. <3
This is not so much on a new tree, but can you please please please fix the fact that practice will always repeat the alphabet lectures. This has been a topic a while before but no changes. For practice, the user should be able to decide "I want to never practice this again because I'm dead certain I know this" ... it's really turning me away from Duolingo that as an intermediate learner of Korean, I still have to repeat the alphabet, which is practiced with all the other exercises anyway.
