Translation:My boss didn't pay my salary last month.
I am concerned. First business is bad, then I have to work overtime every day this week and now I am owed a month's salary. Time to get a new job I think.
Isn't "my salary" unnecessary in this sentence? If you simply said, "My boss didn't pay me last month" it would be understood that you were referring to your salary. What else would the boss be paying you?
As far as I understand, in China salaries are typically talked about on a monthly basis rather than yearly. Thus "salary" is used here. But I do agree it sounds weird.
"My boss didn't pay me my salary last month" reported 14th December 2018.
Either : "didn't pay me my salary last month." Or "didn't pay my last month salary." Dont all other options except the one you chose. Ignore " Minor ENGLISH Grammar Flaws".
