"Selamat tinggal" means "Goodbye", so it's totally different from "See you".

Ya is less formal than iya I'm guessing.
"Iya" should certainly be acceptable, since you hear this constantly in Indonesia. Ditto for "lagi," as in, "Sampai jumpa lagi."

"Sampai jumpa" sounds like "Le zampa la chumpa" in El Salvador.
