In English it would be extremely rare / unnatural to say ‘how many are your pockets’ and would be better translated as ‘how many pockets to do you have’ (but am aware this is problematic for possessive learning as it needs punya verb if not mistaken?)

I completely agree, I would go as far as saying that 'How many are your pockets' is not a real English sentence. I have seen the same problem in multiple sentences around the word 'berapa'. This sentence should be changed into 'How many pockets do you have?'
