Something more natural would be "She married when she was twenty years old"

I disagree. It's ok to say "she married" in plenty of dialects of English

Sorry... no... just no... Nobody says "she married" or "he married" but "She got married" or "He got married". The only way "she married" or "he married" would be used is in a sentence like "She married a doctor".... i.e. She married SOMEONE... otherwise it should be "She got married" - at the very least it should be ACCEPTED!

That's not true, i hear people say "she married at x age" all the time. Must be more of a regional thing

How do I know this sentence is in the past? Only by context?

WHY doesn't it accept without "years old"? "... when she was twenty" is CORRECT!

Shouldn't the word sudah be in there somewhere, if it is past tense???
