Please let us favorite sentences from the lessons

I really want a feature where you can favorite sentences and have a collection of your favorite sentences from various lessons

Here are some reasons why people could benefit from such a feature:

  1. Some of the sentences are so amazing and funny.
  2. Some of the funny sentences can help you remember certain words if you memorize the sentence and its direct translation (before rearranging of grammar).
  3. Can be helpful if someone finds a sentence with a lot of words they want to remember.
  4. You can create a collection of your favorite sentences and memorize vocabulary more easily that way
  5. Some sentences have a more clear direct translation so you can see how the sentence structure works since sometimes the grammar looks like it changes a lot from original language to what you are translating it to.

These collections can be posted publicly and given names if you want to so that other users can see them, like the collections in tinycards. So you could have one collection for funny sentences, one for hard vocabulary, and so on.

This would be incredibly useful, in my opinion.

You can follow the discussion for each sentence in every lesson. Still, it sounds like a very nice idea to just collect sentences, but not have to go through a list of topics to find them. Maybe someone at duolingo will take it under consideration. Voici une lingot pour toi !

It could really help you. I'd like that. Instead of putting sentences in favorites, you could put them in a category for reviewing. You could put funny ones in favorites.

Yes. I have to keep a list in word, and it's a pain. A favorite would be different than following. With a favorite One would not get a notification when someone posts there. One would just be able to go straight to the thread.
