"Roti" should be an acceptable English translation of "Roti" as what would normally be referred to as roti in Indonesia is also referred to as roti in English speaking countries

“Roti Tawar” is the usual way to refer to European style loaf bread.

“Roti” is usually referring to traditional Indonesian/Malay bread which is a flat bread.

I think Indonesian "roti" is less more specific than the english "roti"

All the French loaf, or mexican sweet bread, or perhaps japanese "melon pan" is also can be called "roti" in indonesian.

As for English "roti" i only seen it if people refer to the flat bread type
