The Android app is not working

Starting last night (PDT), I was having trouble with the app freezing whenever I asked to have my first response graded in an exercise. This held true for French and Swedish, I didn't try others right away. Today, things have gotten even worse! I cannot even get a lesson to load, the group tab is not loading the group, nor updating anyone's progress on the leaderboard. The pages are practically blank. The whole app has become useless. My email to the Android feedback address has thus far gone unacknowledged. First, I tried updating the app. Then I uninstalled and re-installed it... no change. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for responding, I just tried it again after getting back home and the problems all seem to have been resolved. I didn't change anything else... oooh, except I almost forgot! My Android OS just updated a couple hours ago! That must have been it. Nothing else has changed. Thanks for the responses! :)
