Feature to see how many hours practised in a month

I have been requesting Duolingo to bring this feature since long. How about a feature that lets you see how much time you spent practising what language in a day, week, month, year? This can be helpful to track how much time I spend learning on Duolingo. I am posting it here just to get your opinion on what you think about this feature. We may get lucky if this post gets popular and Duolingo finally starts building this feature.

How would Duolingo know that you're reading tips & notes or sentence discussions vs. goofing off in another tab or just left your laptop to go eat a sandwich and forgot about it?

In other words: how does Duolingo know whether or not you're practicing? It could count how much time you drill through reviews, but not how much time you read, research, ponder, and learn.

Hi, thanks for the reply and thinking about the feature. How about it tracks the amount of time spent typing the answers, or speaking, or listening(even when repeatedly playing to listen to make sure that getting it clear)? Let me know your thoughts.

I agree with Lrtward unfortunately. It's not a flawed question, there just is no real way to see how much time you've studied. For example: from Duolingo's perspective I haven't studied french all that much, but in reality I watch french shows, listen to french music and talk to my french friends. So they would have gotten the wrong data for my personal learning.

It was a good question though :)

I would really love this too! Especially since I see the owl dancing telling me 32 hours is the same as a course!! How do they track that?
