Duolingo on Android keeps crashing

I'm using the app on a Moto G5 Plus (without root). After the last update, Duolingo crashes when doing basically anything: - checking the comments on a question - minimising Duolingo - locking the phone I've tried contacting the devs, but they haven't answered.

I've tried contacting the devs, but they haven't answered.

This is the usual problem with versions being rolled out on a 2-4 weeks basis without specific functional testing or multiple Android OS testing.

Instead of waiting 4-12 weeks your best solution for Android might be to downgrade to a previous version from a mirror site.

Same here on Samsung s6. I can't get through Japanese Time 3. In French it crashes but it keeps the progress so nothing is lost. But in Japanese I have to start over and over. I managed to get past the first sub lesson by making no mistake and not reading any comments.

@Otto

I can't get through Japanese Time 3.

Have you submitted a bug report here: https://support.duolingo.com/hc/en-us/articles/204728264-How-do-I-report-a-bug-

You are missing just one lesson.

Why don't you complete it on the web portal: https://www.duolingo.com/skill/ja/Time-3/2

Maybe next skills won't crash the app.
