Why is the translation "Je commence, alors que nous parlons" or "Je commence, tandis que nous parlons" wrong?

I also wrote the same sentence as Thiagaraj, I'll send a report as I think its a correct alternative.

Why is the "que" necessary?

Same question, anyone know? And it always necessary, or are there times when it is not?

I wrote, "Je commence comme nous parlons."

Come = As

Close enough?
