I got this in a multiple choice question where another option was "Kami tidak di arah yang betul" and the English was "We are not in the right direction". Why is "kami" wrong?

Why is "kami" wrong?

'kami' should also be accepted.

Is it just me or is this a very strange English sentence. I feel like there is a "going" missing.
