Oven is also kompor?

Kompor is stove. Indonesian home have a stove, but 90% do not have an oven.

In Indonesia 90% of the homes do not have an oven. What is commonly called a stove in the west, is really a range, and Indonesian people, typically, do not have them.

Typically in Indonesia an oven is something that you put on top of your two burner gas stove in order to bake cookies or cakes.

Western style ranges are available, just not common.
