Nope. There are words for specific kinds of hats, but hat itself generically is sombrero. The kind of hat that people in the States usually call a sombrero typically goes by "sombrero méxicano".

It depends on the noun it modifies. If it's a feminine noun, go with nuestra(s). Masculine, nuestro(s). If it's plural (ie, multiple cats) you add the s.

Hats is sombreros and cap is gorro as my Spanish Teacher Ms.Debra taught me two years ago sence I'm seven.Even though my dad is from Dominican Republic he gave up when I started kindergarten.

Hi girl, answering your question....yes, you can say that. In some parts, sombrera is the word for a hat (sombrero) used by women. Not sure if duolingo marks it as a correct answer though.
