are there any other words for hats in spanish?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Iago

Nope. There are words for specific kinds of hats, but hat itself generically is sombrero. The kind of hat that people in the States usually call a sombrero typically goes by "sombrero méxicano".

A lot of people say gorra to mean any hat (it really means cap)

for me, a cap and a hat isn't exactly the same.

What is the difference between nuestro/nuestra and nosotros?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/muchachowitz

It depends on the noun it modifies. If it's a feminine noun, go with nuestra(s). Masculine, nuestro(s). If it's plural (ie, multiple cats) you add the s.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Mercedes4424

well nuestro(masculine) or nuestra(feminine) means ours but nosotros means we (please excuse my spelling if i spelled something incorrectly)

can we say(( Nuestras sombreras)) ?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/vicentillo013

Hi girl, answering your question....yes, you can say that. In some parts, sombrera is the word for a hat (sombrero) used by women. Not sure if duolingo marks it as a correct answer though.

Duo pronounces this phrase like one long word: "nuestrosombreros." Is this correct?
