Why vIHo' not jIHo'?

In Klingon, a verb takes a prefix that reflects both the subject and the object on that verb. In this sentence, jIH I is the subject and torgh is the object.

The prefix jI- means "I subject, no object." But you've got an object, so that can't be the right prefix. The prefix vI- means "I subject, him/her/it/them object." This is the one you need.
