Does 'fagioli' really translate as bean, kidney dish AND second year university student?!

Honestly, I only knew the first meaning, but the Treccani dictionary does list: beans, bean pods (though commonly called fagiolini), rooster's testicles, second year university students, and horses with abnormal teeth. The university denomination is jargon and related to the goliardic tradition.

I like the fact that horses with abnormal teeth are so common there has to be a word for them. Interesting, thank you!
