konkuri vs konkurenci
they both seem to mean 'to compete' so what is the difference?
Dumb question number 1: Are these words in the course? I just checked and I don't think so.
Dumb question number 2: Did you check PIV?
konkuri is "to compete" in the general sense. To compete over a job, a position, for a title. That sort of thing.
konkurenci is the verb form of konkurenco, which is commercial, industrial, or business competition.
