Not sure what is wrong with "I am staff here".. isn't that proper English? And is it not the same thing?

An acceptable translation for 'pegawai' is "employee" in English.

Thanks I was going to ask what kind of officer, my main assumptions would be a police officer, followed by those of clubs and charities; not what I would normally translate as an employee.

I wonder why my translation "I am employed here" was not acceptable

Why should AN be edit

It said I have a typo when I wrote "I am staff here." It said the correct answer would be "Im a staff here," which is not correct English. It is missing the apostrophe in "I'm" and no one says "I am a staff."
