Selamat jalan - Goodbye (if they are leaving)
Tinggal = stay
Jalan = road
So like .. more literally selamat is like... "Wishing upon you" and the other word modifies it into like... "Wishing you a good travel/stay"

To a native English speaker, Bye and Goodbye are the same. Both should be accepted
Good bye should be accepted as well
Why is neither "bye" nor "goodbye" accepted???
