I'm loving this too much, honestly.

For those who've been on my previous topic, you know that I am finally learning Spanish after 6 years of being in a Hispanic area.

I'm still managing to surprise my Spanish teacher, and I'm even supporting my learning by practicing with my best friend who is a native Spanish speaker. So far, even after 21 days, I'm doing absolutely perfect, and I'm also making an effort to practice bonus lessons.

If anyone wants advice or needs help, feel free to comment on this thread. I'm currently up to Family 2. I'm also looking for more challenges, because this is honestly absolutely fun.

It's exciting to watch your streak grow. Consistency is the most important thing. Don't feel bad if you need to slow down here and there, but don't ever stop.

What is your favorite Spanish word, so far?

My favorite Spanish word? Un/una. Very simple.

Nah, but seriously, I have a variety of favorite Spanish words so far. Some are simple, some are not. I'll still be getting there, though.

Even before starting to learn Spanish, I always loved how Gracias, Amigo and Adios sound. It's weird but I like to say these three words aloud some times. :D

I've always had an interest in Spanish and yea I find the practises kinda fun, especially when you completely ace it (Not making any mistakes).

Since you're surrounded in a native speaking area, do you have any tips in general? Especially when it comes to speaking.

My friend actually teaches me how to attempt the accent. Since I have a Midwestern dialect I sound totally different trying to do it.

What I sometimes do is eavesdrop on conversations. I don't actually listen to what they're saying, but how they're saying what they're saying. Accents can be crucial in the Spanish language, so try to learn those from time to time. Hope that helped a bit!

¡Qué perfecto!

That is so great to hear that you've already done with all the session on Duoringo Spanish.

I am willing to have a friend who's a native Spanish speaker. I will never get one, though.

Honestly, I am so wondering how good you are at speaking Spanish. Coz you said you're still managing to suprise your Spanish teacher. I mean you're so good, Keep it up. One day, I hope I can speak Spanish like a native speaker. I absolutely hope you can do your best all the time. Cheers mate !.

I'm not actually that fantastic in Spanish, but the surprise for my Spanish teacher was my massive improvement in Spanish. I am trying to get better, and maybe become bilingual. I even plan on learning Hebrew, so perhaps trilingual. Cheers!

Hi, I am Alexis. But you are better at Spanish than me. I have been in Spanish for three years and still forget the simple words.

It actually gets more fun the longer you're on it. I'm sure learning other languages can be a very fun challenge.
