How is possible to go west and turn right to north?
Let's pretend West is 9 o'clock and North is 12 o'clock. If you are in the middle of the clock facing 9 (West), then on your right is 12 (North) and on your left is 6 (South) while behind you is 3 (East). So totally possible :)
