'Prize' and 'award' are pretty much synonyms in English, whereas in French ' le prix ' has the meanings ' the price' and ' the prize', which in English are distinct.
Award = prix, récompense
only problem is: I hear "le pré" and not "le prix" and I'm francophone, or maybe dumb
well at least you can hear something all i hear is "Le peh".... . . . and that's just barely
I thought "le prix" meant "price"
"price" or "prize", both translations are accepted.
This is wromg!!
