खा के जाओ is more natural, right?

When a friend comes to visit and wants to depart quickly, and you want to be polite and ask him to 'Eat, and then go' (typically lunch or dinner) you say खा के जाओ। When that friend accepts, and eats, and gossips and chats, and when he has overstayed his welcome, and you want to tell him, 'Eat and go', you say खाओ और जाओ।

I think this is much more dependent on dialect. Like we can say "kha ke jao" or also "kha kar jao" both mean the exact same thing.
