I don't think so. [Meminta A untuk B] is okay, but the structure of this sentence is [Meminta A].

For example,

Saya meminta air untuk anak saya di restoran ini. / I request (order) water for my kid at the restaurant.

"Saya meminta untuk air" is grammatically incorrect.
