At the very beginning of this course, we were taught that calling animals animate or inanimate was a matter of choice for the speaker. Why is it, then, that every single time I call a turtle inanimate, I am marked as incorrect? Yet, in the earlier lessons, with other animals, it didn't seem to make a difference which term I used. Is there some particular information about turtles that I am not privy to?

I'm confused why "kesy" dosn't work here either. David Peterson must be Rhoynish.

Turtles are persons??

Did Gamera write these lessons???
