700 days and 300000 xps today!
Time flies but it flies with Duo! I wish to thank Duo founders, the staff and my fellow Duolingers for the time spent together. Duo provides a lot of fun and cost-free education and no other application can compare to it. I have tried some others, like Mondly, for example, but they aren't like DL. Thanks to Duo I am capable of having a conversation in Italian, I can brush up on German and Russian which I lost in the past or start a new language. Thanks to Duo I had a chance to meet some great people with whom I can communicate outside of Duo, on a different platform, and practice the languages I am studying. It has been 700 fantastic days, looking forward to 1000! Thanks again Duolingo, I am really grateful ......
Congratulations, you have done an amazing job, so I'll take advantage of you and I'll try to follow a similar path!! ;-D 700 days, and the 2 year-streak is so close!! OTOH, thanks for having funded an amazing alternative club, I'm not intervening much but I like to read from time to time, and you have built a very enriching environment, where people talk freely in a variety of languages... Therefore I hope to have more time in the next weeks, to meet some of your amazing friends! Good luck with your languages, and Do widzenia! ;-)
Gratulacje, Yarko! Congratulazioni! :)
700 days and 300 000 xp is an amazing milestone! That's almost... 430 xp a day! :-O
Good luck for you in getting to 1000 days! Powodzenia i trzymam kciuki! :)
Grazie mille Mya! I hope one day when you take up Italian seriously, you will visit my club? By the way, whenever I look at your list of languages I end up with a heavy hangover ;-))))))
Of course I will! :) but right now, I'm too busy to learn Italian seriously... I only got the basics :(
First, I plan to refresh my German, French (past school subjects) and to retake Russian. And having finished Spanish and a bit of French... hopefully Italian will be a bit easier for me ;))))
PS. I agree, I feel hungover when I look at them myself xD I've dabbled and tried out some of them, but I can't bring myself to delete them -in case I decide to retake them :)
Hello my friend, I am late to congratulate (sleep got in the way ;-)) and I am no wizard and can't even say: "A wizard never comes late - he arrives precisely when he means to" ..
You have done such a good job and I can only say keep it up and enjoy your ongoing journey ;-). I am trying to follow your footsteps although I won't be able to catch you.. ;-)))
Thanks Birgit a lot! You know well that without you guys, the project would have been dead already!
Benissimo Yarko, congratulazioni! I too am grateful to Duolingo for this wonderful learning tool. Keep up the good work. Tanti auguri!
My goodness! Take a look at yourself! Who should have been congratulated on? You are just great :-O!
تهانينا لهذا العمل الرائع ،مزيدا من العطاء والتألق،فأحسن ما ننفق فيه الوقت هو التعلم. congratulations for this wonderfull work; more giving and glamor . the best thing we spend time for it is learning.
Outstanding accomplishment!! Great commitment, wonderful dedication! Here's to the next 700/300000!
Great work, I am heading to 1000. I will take a break afterwards. Keep up the good work.
Upvotes and lingots! That's a wonderful accomplishment! We are so glad that you were able to get here. Thank you for sharing your learning journey with us. ))
Thanks, your Spanish must be impressive after so many days of studying!?
¡ Gran trabajo! (Which means "Great Job!" in Spanish but you probably knew that already) :D
Did you mean you got 300K XP TODAY? (In one day, that would be ohmygosh)
Great job, I couldn't have done it. And what do those flags mean? I'm a 7th grader learning espanol, it would be great if you gave me advice
You don't need any advice! Just stick to DL, find some outside, additional sources and go ahead! I wish you much success in language learning.
hi. congratulations. Can you provide some worksheets or suggest some source for extra practice in Italian language.
Thanks, I hate to say I don't use any worksheets or grammar exercises. All advice I can give you is to listen to loads of material (songs, TV, Youtube: Italian with Lucrezia, Italiano automatico and many others) even if you initially cannot make out much. Listen to a lecture on YT Lýdia Machová - Ten things polyglots do differently. Perhaps that will give you some insight into the subject. Listen to the masters! Anyway, I wish you a lot of successful learning, write, talk and listen as much as you can ;-))
