"Nechtěla jsem ho zklamat." Would this also be a correct translation for 'I did not want to disappoint him." with "ho" in place of "jej"?

It's funny how many false friends there are in Slavic languages. To a Polish ear it would mean "I didn't want to LIE to HER". :D
