Why not 'anak yang termalas'?

'yang' kinda like translates somewhat to 'which is' so the direct translation of 'anak yang termalas' is 'child that is/which is the laziest', but grammatically, the 'which is' can be dropped therefore you'd still make sense with or without the 'yang' in that sentence.

i think "child" would be equally good a translation as "kid"
