All "Tips and Notes" collected on one page.
sorry if this has been mentioned before but I just noticed a very nice feature at duome.eu. If you go to you progress page (i.e. https://duome.eu/Gunnar388832/progess for me). If you roll down a bit they have three tabs: "Skills", "Words" and "Tips and Notes". If you click at "Tips and Notes" you will find all "Tips and Notes" for the language that you are currently studying :-)
I'm just wondering if those with the Staff Tree in French can access the Tips and Notes this way. I've heard that in the Staff Tree there are no T/N for the later skills.

No, works only for five skills which I can see.
Staff's new tree8 (119 skills) exclusively focuses on the "mobile grammar notes" in the mobile app (e.g IOS) - for now.
But only for the new added A1 CEFR skills, according to the explanation from moderator: https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/29069435$comment_id=29072779
Duome.eu is only (much better) compatible with the EN-FR tree3 (96 skills) from contributors, not tree8 or tree12 (157 skills) from staff as tree3 contains all (html formatted) notes in our extended user profiles which duome.eu can read.
French tree ALERT
French tree8+12 removed several "grammar skills" including previously available (html formatted) "tips and notes" for the web portal / duome.eu.
"Skills "Prepositions 1-3" disappeared from the French course (staff tree4): Find the missing html notes from tree3 here" https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/29069435$comment_id=29083443
Actually it is much worse!
I do not find the grammar skills from tree3:
- Possessives 1-3
- Demonstratives 1-3
- Conjunctions 1+2
with the same name as separate skills in the tree4!
I will try to get an overview about the skill differences 3 vs 8+12...
Can you somehow change the tree you're learning? I saw that it said "tree8" somewhere on my duolingo/duome page, but I couldn't make sense of it. now i know, thank you.
Thank you! Very useful information. I was coping notes to my word processor... one note at a time.
i'm only able to see a very few "tips and notes" on the aforementioned progress page, and that is quite bothersome.
is it possible tips and notes will once again be available in the near future? my "tree" has 119 skills in it, 598 lessons. i have no idea how to read "crown level", or why my skills (88 of 119) and strength (88%) seem to indicate a little proficiency, while lessons (26/598) seems as if i've barely started where i was a year ago...
I see that you have found the comment from the French moderator: https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/29069435$comment_id=29072779

We have to ask staff if they may copy over the "explanation" variable html formatted text for each skill - where available - to their new tree4.
As the new tree4 has rearranged skills (e.g names, 1-3 -> single skill, etc.) and is not a 100% clone of tree3, it may be not that easy....
My idea was to generate a PDF from tree3 and put it somewhere online.
I have already asked moderators/contributors if it is allowed for me or how we can best accomplish this: https://forum.duolingo.com/comment/29069435$comment_id=29098282
while i have you here, sir, can you answer a question for me? what is the difference between 1 crown and 3 for each module? i had completed a fairly large number of the modules in the previous tree, and now while most of the same named modules are either bereft of crowns, some list a crown or more.
thank you for your help!
what is the difference between 1 crown and 3 for each module?
There had been two really big threads "Crowns FAQ" and "Upcoming Feature: skill levels!" and one further thread introducing the above blog crown level redesign.
I literally have thousand of messages (user replies) stored in a separate inbox which I will hardly be able to read in my lifetime - so I wonder who from Duolingo staff reads them ;)

Sorry, this is going to be an off-topic discussion.
Would you please open a new thread or you could use of one of the existing two really big "Crown FAQ" / "Upcoming feature: skill level" threads.
I also have 3-5 links for you to three recently created topics (in the wrong sub-forums) about study plans / intended paths and best way to study.
I also had replied to the two big crown threads...will have to try to find again and link my own comment.
I really can't completely answer in this "Tips and notes" thread.
thank you for the help, thomas. a functional PDF would be a perfect supplement to learning. please keep me in mind if it happens :)

I wondered when I complete the tree all gold, how much knowledge would I have accumulated towards a GCSE?
