Here is a master list of all of the FREE Irish learning resources online.
I put together what I believe is a comprehensive list of all of the free online resources to learn Irish (DUO is right at the top of course), including video, audio, apps, courses, dictionaries, websites, textbooks ... you name it. The complete list is here: http://gratisglobal.com/learn-irish-free/
Hope this is helpful! Susie
If I missed anything at all, please let me know so I can add it, as long as it is free and high quality:)
That's an impressive list!
When I browsed through it, I notices that in the list of dictionaries in the first section, you have Foras na Gaeilge’s New English-Irish Dictionary and give links to the app stores. There is also a website (but maybe that should be in the other dictionary section further down): https://www.focloir.ie/
If there were a way to expand all sections, that would make it easier to search for resources in your list, e.g. to see if there is something I have on my list that you don't
Thanks so much for the feedback! You are right that since all sections don't expand at once, it might be difficult to do a quick review - Sorry about that. Let me know if you have any other suggestions. I would love to hear them. Thanks, Susie
Thank you! Great list! There is a free app for ios called Cód na Gaeilge that I found extremely helpful (and fun) for learning the spelling system and understanding the difference between broad/slender etc.
Thanks so much! I have just begun studying Irish on Duo and am grateful to have this set of external resources. I've looked at a couple of the entries and am sure I'll be using them frequently, especially for help with pronunciation and conversation.
For sure, there is a good amount of free resources, which are sure to keep you busy:) Good luck!
No problem! It took some digging, but I definitely agree that there is quite a lot out there.
