Suggestion: Replace the adjective larger with broader.

Of course the sky is larger.

In this case, is "apa" interchangeable with "apakah"?

Yes, 'apakah' also sounds better

According to one of IDN-ENG dictionaries IndoDic, "samudera" is translated as both "ocean" and "sea". But "Samudra" (samudera) is ocean only, and "laut" is sea, according to other dictionaries and also native speakers...

Yes, sea = laut; ocean = samudra or samudera or lautan.

  • Laut = sea
  • Samudra = ocean.
  • Samudera is a non-existent word.

You may check the words in: https://kbbi.kemdikbud.go.id/

The website is all in Indonesian, but if you had a doubt about a word in Indonesian, that is the place where every Indonesian students will go (or forced by their teacher to check the standardized version of a word in Indonesian - note that the Malay which is the base of Indonesian had a lot of variation across the archipelago, and this dictionary show the standardized version)
