Books to reach A1 in dutch?
Hello! I am looking to buy a set of books to learn dutch. I have looked online but i have not found something that is specifically for level A1, A2+.. There is only books for grammar or vocabulary or "dutch for beginners" and things like that. I would rather buy a book that is specifically supposed to bring me to the A1 level so i can take an examination. Also I love books that come as a textbook and there is a workbook as well to practice on. Thank you!
I've started reading Diary of Anne Frank in its original dutch (Het Achterhuis). Although i definitely don't know all the vocabulary I find its not too difficult to follow along with a 13 year old girls thoughts
The text is freely available at https://biblio.wiki/wiki/Het_Achterhuis_(Anne_Frank)
I don't know of any books, but here's the link to an online course of A1-A2 Dutch which you can take from the University of Groningen. It's not free, but it does list the book they use in the course, which you can apparently order as an e-book from the publisher. https://www.rug.nl/language-centre/e-learning/online-dutch/a1-a2?lang=en. Btw, I just noticed they also offer a free introductory course in Dutch.
This site, http://dutchfirst.nl/en/dutch-courses-by-type/, also offers online Dutch courses and you can order the textbooks and workbooks separately. I don't know how trustworthy it is, but I'll leave that to your judgment.
