Is there any audio?

I lived on the Navajo Rez on an intern. The meaning of each word or phrase is based on the inflection sounds so it would really make sense to ask someone on the Rez to help with the sound portion. Window Rock's chapter house, their form of government, would be a good place to start.

there's currently no audio for this since it's still in beta.Though maybe in the future we may get one.

I'm getting some Norman Bates vibes here: "Hello, motherrrrr..."

This one actually started that Camp Granada song running through my head for some reason. ...I'm not sure which one of us is more messed up, here.

Thank you so much dui lingo for adding audio. Now i can learn to pronunce the words!!! I'm so excited to learn Navajo. I just read a nook about Navajo code talkers in WW2 so this is super awesome!

So many of these questions have us type an english response and i think it would be better if there were more where we had to type in the language we're learning instead. Its just something thats bothering me

In my experiences on DL that becomes more predominant later in the course, when we've been exposed to it more

Responding in the language gets more frequent as you progress through units

Why do you penalize us for punctuation marks on Navajo and you don't do it on Spanish

Wouldn't it also be "hello my mother?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/VioletaVeer

Yes. That is also an accepted answer

I hope Navajo doesn't die out
