I have an odd idea. I understand that Marc Okrand is not a fan of pIQaD as it is. But if the course were taught in pIQaD (something like Japanese?), wouldn't that clear up the qaghwI', and small letter bugs? And if it were possible to have two versions of the course, one with Roman characters and one with pIQaD, I think that would be ideal.

The Russian course has a button that let's you switch back and forth between Cyrillic and Latin and I dream of something like that. We are working on an idea that will probably help with the Hints for words that start with a qaghwI'.

Both of those would be neat. The switch button would be terrific. Can you explain why Okrand is not satisfied with pIQaD? The only thing that is wrong with it that I can imagine is the lack of semicolons and colons.

Okrand has no problem with the pIqaD. He has used it in projects he has worked on. He had no hand in it's creation and I feel that he might have preferred something a little more complicated. He does not have an interest in learning it, but has no problem with people using it and learning it.
