Why is nose “Ayaats’iin” in the picture card, but here it’s “Achiih” (sorry I don’t have accents)?

This word should replace the Navajo word for 'nose' in the picture cards.

I want to know which nose it is, too!

From what I've seen:

  • Áchį́į́h = nose
  • ayaatsʼiin = jaw

Hope that helps :-)

like user ollie-benson said, this word is for nose and ayaats'iin is for jaw. i really wish duolingo wouldn't confuse learners like this, but navajo is still in beta so i guess i can't be too mad... hopefully they'll get it fixed at some point

I have access to two dine binaad keyboards, but neither one has the long slashes that are used for the word for nose at the top of this discussion. My accent marks are all small. Can someone explain, please?
