Why is the translation for "the boy" given as "keiki kāne" and yet the translation for "keiki kāne" only "boy" - and "the boy" is wrong?? Why is this not reciprocal? This inconsistency is very confusing!! IS there a rationale here?

The prompt before this one had the English "the boy" and no bubble for "ke" - so only "keiki kāne" was the only possible correct response. Why, then, is the reciprocal incorrect? What are we supposed to learn from this? Not to trust DL?
