This translates more to "say the word brother"

It should be something like "ongea" which means speak or talk or "jibu" if you want an answer or "itika" - of you want a response

According to my tanzanian husband "kusema" is more formal and relates to a speach. In this context it would be more approprioate to use "kuongea"
