Stories for Polish learners please!
The Labs and words learned lists for the English to French course are brilliant. I also love the stories and the flip cards. The bonus module on idioms is a real treat too.
I'm really keen to see these added to the Polish course (for English speakers) too but I'm unsure who to contact or how likely it is to come about.
Any advice would be grand.
My current efforts to improve my listening skills largely involve Polish songs and cartoons online but the DuoLingo Stories feature offers small segments of dialogue with a visible script and testing at intervals so I'd love to be able to use that too.
i would love stories too. I saw them for the Spanish lessons and it looks like it would help so much.
patrick ma dwa psy, ale chce mieć 4 mój tata ma 56 lat lubię placki ile masz lat? ja mam 20 mam nadzieję ze pomogłem
PS. i am a polish native speaker, but I live in england
"Patrick has two dogs, but he wants to have 4. My dad is 56 years old. I like placzki. How old are you? I am 20. I hope I helped (I hope this helped).
Ah, I thought you were asking for real life stories from Polish learners.
If you are into both Harry Potter and Polish, there is a LARP event that takes place at a castle in Poland every year. Although the event is covered in English, it might be a fun thing to do if you're considering visiting Poland. Check out some of the images, very beautiful landscape and great Potteresque atmosphere:
No, I meant like the interactive stories in DuoLingo Labs.
They're currently only available for Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German. I'd love to see them added for as many other languages as possible (mainly Polish).
Thanks for the link.
