DO Duolingo users know about Rhinospike.com?
I have recently discovered Rhinospike.com. A website like Forvo.com but where you can have native speakers record anything for you rather than just words, and download them. I Started collecting the Sentences from the Spanish lesson here on Duolingo. Hoping to have them audible so I would be able to listed to them on my commute to school. Which should help with my listening skills as well as reinforce what i'm learning here. However I'm just realising that Rhinospike isn't as popular as it should be. I mean it's an excellent resource that we should be taking advantage of!
Thank you for talking about this!! I had no idea it was a thing, and I'm already having fun recording English stuff for people. I have no idea what I'd like to request from others, though. This is really exciting for people who want specific passages read or written out!!
You can also look at what others have already requested in the language that you are trying to learn and learn from it.
This looks like an excellent idea; thank you for bringing it to people's attention. I hope it succeeds in attracting the critical mass of users to make it a genuinely useful resource.
Hopefully people share the site with all the other language discussions. :) I think this is unlikely to happen though.
woah thats alot of languages! espesically ur streak! are u actually good at all them? do u get mixxed up/confused with all the ones ur learning?
I remember hearing about this when I was learning Japanese but just didn´t take advantage of it at all. Thanks for the reminder! Hopefully, people here find it useful, too, because it is a great resource.
This looks amazing, thanks! I'm learning Spanish to be able to speak to the kids I teach who have emigrated to my area of London, so the usual phrases we learn aren't massively useful. This is great!
