"Non compro una macchina qualsiasi."
Does this mean that he does not buy a car at all, or that the car he buys is special, "not just any old car"?
Not just any old car, but a 400hp 6 speed with chrome finish! Here are some other ways you might see such phrasing used:
- Non sono una famiglia qualsiasi (maybe talking about certain reality TV shows)
- Prenditi uno qualsisi! (they're all good, just take one)
- Sembra una donna qualsiasi (she seems like a normal woman, not a supermodel, which is why certain paintings are revolutionary)
Hope that helped :)
but I thought that qualsiasi had the same meaning ? What is the difference ?
