Weil introduces a subordinate clause, denn links a second main clause. Therefore the word order is different (verb at the end vs verb at position 2).
It is absolutely ok to start with the subordinate clause with weil if the word order is correct. Unfortunately nowadays you'll hear a lot of examples where weil is used with the wrong (main clause) word order which sounds strange. On the other hand starting a sentence with denn is not correct.

Ich liebe Deutsch, weil ich es einfach FINDE and ich liebe Detsch denn ich finde es einfach. ''Weil'' sends the verb to the end of the sentence which in this case is finden
