Need help learning or memorizing Hiragana or Katakana?

My team and I just release an app to help learn or practice Hiragana, Katakana, and soon kanji. It's like an endless runner with flashcards. I would love to hear your feedback!

Dude... I've got all golds for hiragana on Duolingo, but I know that my knowledge is still weak. And it's exactly what I need to train. I'm sure that I'm not alone like this. So thank you very much, you've done a very good thing!

P.S. Your game is so, you know... japanese. For a gaijin like me, at least. I smile all the time I play it :D

P.P.S. If you're thinking about how to improve your game - I guess you should add an opportunity to choose the difficulty (which influences on the speed).

Thanks for the feedback! I designed the illustrations and what not so I'm stoked to hear that!! In "The Ride" there are three difficulty settings, but for the Free Run and Learn modes, there aren't...

I love it, cute graphics, nice simple but fun gameplay! I really appreciate how you included a learn/ practice mode. The only feature I feel is missing is sound for the Hiragana/ Katakana, Right now I feel the game teaches how to associate the syllables with their romaji counterparts, but I would prefer to associate them with their sounds as well. If the hiragana could have the appropriate audio every time you hit it that would help. Also, if there was a mode in which instead of being prompter with the romafi you would be prompted by audio. Great job, though, I love the pink cat!

I've learnt the hiragana and katakana by traditional book. After that I started the duolingo course, bcs I don't have enough time to go to the class. But if you thought the hiragana & katakana is the difficulty part of Japanese learning, There are 1900+ kanji in their language. The duolingo won't tell you how to write the Japanese/Chinese/Korean. That's the most funny part of these lesson. LOL

So my suggestion is find another way (traditional way, buy book and use paper & pen) to learn 'how to write' and that will be easy to remember these 50 Japanese words.
