Only Duolingo is not enough for fluency

Since i started study Chinese on Duolingo as a Brazilian, i realize that only Duoling wont make you fluent, as i have my fiancé studying english, she can read though but not enough for speaking and listening. Has anyone reached 100% fluency using only Duolingo?

Hi, I think it's preferable to use other sources too for improving that, but all in all Duolingo seems to me a great way to start learning a new language.

You are completely right, and unfortunately it is worse now that Duolingo seems to have gotten rid of the listening and speaking parts. But I think Duo is definitely a good start, but other websites can and should definitely be used to converse and gain fluency!

You should never rely on only one resource.
