Halfway through French!
I must admit learning on Duolingo has been quite a ride, I can't say much because I haven't got to level 25 on any languages yet! But I'm halfway on French. I know it isn't much, but I believe I can get there with just that little bit more work. I'm setting myself a goal, I will get to level 15 by the end of this year! I'm also currently learning many other languages. Chinese, is actually the language my parents speak and I just wanted to learn more.
I won't give up on reaching for my goals, I hope to study at a Chinese University too in the future and visit France and help my parents with the language. I hope you all have a goal too and I believe whatever your goal or dream is you'll eventually get there, just don't give up!
Hi Rebecca! Sounds like you have a lot of great and ambitious plans for the future ahead! I myself learn French on Duolingo, a big motivation for this is my GCSE exams, but I do also really enjoy learning the language for myself too. Who knows where it will take me in the future! All the best!
That is a wonderful checkpoint!! Your dedication shows through; and it is a great inspiration! Keep it up!! :D
WOAH CONGRATS! i just found duo two days ago already love it! im doing french as well
That is an inspiring message, Rebecca! It has always been a dream of mine to be fluent in French. Like you, I am pressing my way toward mastery a level at a time. I'm not in the discussion area often, but I would love to stay connected.
Can we follow each other?
ahhhhh so young and full of passion keep it up champ. Duolingo will eat you up and then spite you back like it was nothing. I'm rooting for you
Well done! I have heard many things about France, but my advice about traveling in France is this: bring good walking shoes, insoles, and a flashless camera. Be prepared to pay for a restroom and water.
Chinese is an interesting language. It's almost musical with the rising and falling letters.
You will achieve your goal. When having a goal, learning becomes more dedicated and enjoyable(for me this happened with English but I haven't sorted much with French/Japanese, just interested in their cultures but that alone is not enough motivation.) Also congratulations for learning so many languages!
