    In the audio, it sounds clearly to me like "ver-EE-tah" But with the accent on the a (à), shouldn't it be more like "ver-i-TAH"?

    "You will tell me the truth" so long as it is followed by a question mark is the same but is rejected by DL . If spoken with the inflection implying a question it is fine so why not when written?.

    My experience of DL is that word order trumps punctuation every time. I rarely use any and have never had answers rejected because i didn't use a capital, question mark or any other punctuation. So, sadly, in your example, although you are correct, you will be marked wrong. The perils of a 'free' dinner!
