Weather Phrases

I was thinking it would be good if Duolingo added some weather phrases we could learn, simple ones and maybe a few more advanced ones like Hurricane and whatnot.

Nice idea!
We could have a Bonus Skill lesson for all natural disasters and learn words like:
Hurricane, tornado, earthquake, thunderstorm, flash flood, haboob, avalanche, wildfire, tsunami, volcano eruption, ETC.

No clue what a haboob is and I'm too lazy to look it up, but anyway, that's a great idea. It could include simple things too like snowing, raining, hailing, hot, cold, humid, etc.

I did look it up and a Haboob is a particular type of dust storm and so far I have not found a translation for it in 5 English-French on-line dictionaries... is there a French geologist around?

I would have liked a bonus skill that focuses on travel phrases like, 'Apportez-nous l'addition', 'A quelle heure sert-on le petit dejeuner?' 'Comment se dit...en anglais?'...etc.

Living in the Midwest, I would sure like to know some weather vocabulary. It's a huge discussion topic here and it'd be nice to be able to talk about the latest weather/natural disaster. Add me as a definite vote for another branch to the tree.
