News in Slow Spanish. Thoughts?

I need to improve my listening and was thinking of News in Slow Spanish. Does anyone have experience with this service? Is it worth the price? Did you use the European or Latin American version?

Is there a better alternative that I missed ;)

I used it years ago when you could get just the podcast (no flashcards, transcript, notes, or anything) for free. I listened to it while I was in the gym - it's good for elliptical/treadmill but no good if you're needing to count reps or pay attention to anything else. It requires full concentration.

I liked the variety of news/grammar/story that they used to do. Don't know if they still do or not. The slow delivery was perfect for me.

You can try an episode for free - why not test it out and see what you think?

Thank you!

I have tried the free version, but I wanted to know if the paid tier is worth it. I like the free version enough.

Did you do the Latin American or European version?

I used the paid version for a while and the content is quite good but the app is kind of beat, for example, I frequently want to listen while driving but the app requires so much interaction that it makes it a distraction, so I don't.
